Obviously the Cobra is not faster than a gt with KB32v engine swap like i explained in the post. But anyways

Get an aluminum 4.6 or 5.4 block and start building. Could be more fun and you can upgrade every last part along the way. You may be able to put together some beast of an engine that revs to 8000 rpms, and puts out 400 +rwhp naturally aspirated. Then put on a whipple and watch that boost throw out massive power (especially at the high RPMs). By the time it's together, you'll really appreciate it, (probably take even better care of it) and have many more bragging rights since you built it.

The thread I posted above is definitely coming from some experts. I have a feeling it may come down to a cost issue.
