probably around 250whp. people are barely cracking 300whp with ported PI heads and cams

I read an article recently (don't remember where unfortunately) that took a 96-98 with ported NPI heads, and stage 1 cams (full bolt ons as well...if i remember correctly) and turned around 280 rwhp/310 rwtq.

This may be the exception (i wouldn't know really) to the rule, but someone did it!

Maybe 5 years ago, people are doing 340-350RWHP with ported PI heads and cams on the stock plastic intake these days.

One of the fastest N/A NPI cars is a 3800lb Tbird that is running low 12's at 112MPH. To do that requires well over 300RWHP.

They are currently building a motor with ported NPI heads, 4V shortblock, Bullet Stage 2.5 NA cams, and plastic PI intake that will be on the dyno in a few weeks. We shall see shortly.
