Default Help with COP's

Well I bought new coil on plugs off of ebay, and installed them and now the car runs really bad. And this code came up P0354 Ignition Coil Primary D / Secondary Circuit Malfunction. I checked all of them and they are all tight but one. Its really loose so I go to take it out and now the screw to take it out just spins. Any ideas on how to get the that screw out or what the code means? thanks

What do you mean loose? The connector loose on the COP? And you managed to strip the COP bolt? i believe it just has a metal "anchor" into the plastic... So its probably just spinning the metal inside the intake...which is bad dont keep spinning it. You either have to use an impact type tool to try and quickly apply pressure to knock it loose, or your gonna have to improvise in other ways... I dont really want to recommend any at this time lol

The bolt that holds it down wont tighten or loosen it just spins. So I cant tighten the cop down all the way. Yeah thats what I was thinking it the metal anchor inside the manifold is just spinning. Im open to any idea's.

Take a Needle (threading needle) cut it down to about a half inch. Get the finest tip needle nose pliers you can find and heat that needle till it's red hot, then tap it like a wedge between the plastic and the metal insert. I've had to do it on 2 different intakes and it works pretty well.

Get a new intake when you can afford it.

stripping the threads on cops is common. Their really squeaky sometimes. Try pulling up on COP with some force while unscrewing bolt to catch thread. Then rethread or use different bolt. The screws do not need to be really torqued. Just snug. As for the codes/crappy running...Pull the wire off one at a time to see if idle changes. Once you find the "Ebay" culprit plug/plugs...look to return it/them.

I got them from here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=110368136118 and I fixed it turns out I didnt plug in one of the connectors good enough. As for the bolt Ill deal with that when its time to change the coils out again or get rid of the car. Which ever happens first.
