my 02 gt is having idle problems and i want to look into any thing else b4 i just go buy the IAC... there are NO problems starting it... and if it just idles it is fine... when i get on it, and then take it out of gear, or, just cruize it. the rpms stay at about 2,300 rpms for a like 30 seconds or so.. and i feel a slight throttle stick when the car is running..... any ideas?? vacum problems? ECU problems? there is no "check engine" light on so i dont know what it could be if it's not the Idle Air control..............

someone else said that too.. but the throttle is all new.. and last night i drove it again and i know that after i let it out of gear and it is revving on its own it does end up going up and down from like 2500 to 1500 or so. and then back to idle. even when it idles it seems to be a hundred or two hundred rpms higher but that could be my imagination. but thanks for the reply!

Do you actually feel the throttle staying down?

IAC, TPS & your linkage binding up somehow could all be the culprit.

no the throttle isnt down still.. and i changed the TPS...
