Brake Caliper Won't come off!!! ASAP!!!
Hey guys, I know Ive got to be doing something wrong, Im trying to change brake pads and thats it! Ive unscrewed the top and bottom caliper bolt all they do is just spin doesnt seem to come out! Is there something I am missing to release the caliper so I can put the new brake pads in? How can I get the caliper off? Are the top and bottom caliper bolts supposed to come off? because all they do is spin loosley? Any other bolts? And what about that metal Clip whats that for? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Try giving the bolts a good tug to see if they are not out of the sleeve. You may want to use a pair of plyers, grab the bolt before the head and pull. Also, make sure you have clamps to force the caliper back down before installing your new pads. The metal clip is kind of a guide if we are thinking about the same part, you will want to reinstall that if they don't give you new ones.
Edit, okay looked these up, wasn't sure if they had guides or not. Hold #1 while getting #2 off.

Grab a good light and you will see that the little sleeve that spins has two flats cut into it. You can use a 5/8 or 16mm wrench (not 100% sure on the size)and hold the sleeve from turning and unscrew the bolt. Gotta like those "simple straight forward jobs" that end up not so simple.
