I'm getting 4.10's put in soon, and the shop I'm dealing with is offering a combo deal, but they only sell the X-calibrator II tuner. Is there anything the Diablo can do/does better than the X-calibrator, or vice versa ?? I just need to make sure before hand so I don't sink money into a tuner that won't have the same abilities as the similarly priced Diablo.

btw the combo I'm getting is 4.10 gears + bearing kit installed, X-calibrator tuner + 1 Dyno tune, all for $950 flat. Good deal ?

I have the Diablo and I am looking into getting the SCT2. I would suggest it over the Diablo.

As for the good deal on the 950.

190. for gears
100. for the install kit
300. for the labor for install
400. for the programmer
25. for the tune

equaling 1015. so yeah your getting a good deal..

By SCT2 you mean Xcalibrator II correct (since it is made by SCT) ??

$300 for labor to put them in? What?! I can get that done for $175, 200 MOST. Professionally at that and that's not with any hookups or connections.

It depends where you live too. Most shops do charge between 250. to 300. for install. Just because you got yours in for that doesnt mean that everyone will. The main reason I put 300. is because I'm on alot of forums and the majority of people pay that amount.

25 for a dyno tune? or a generic sct II tune? i got the sct II no problems so far

Well like I said it's a combo package that I'm getting... the $25 figure just came from 01GTType.

It IS an actual dyno tune included in this package.

I know, and I understand that, but that's a good chunk of money for that. Eh, maybe it's just me. How much does a dyno "generally" run?
