alright, and as far as cams, i think i'm gunna wait to tear the motor down until i go all forged.do it all in one shot with headers. make sense? figure with it pulled and out, i can take it out once, put it back in once. any other ideas besides splines cams and headers?

If he has the required tools and knowledge to install and set up the gears, He should be more than capable to replace the differential and axles.

My other thought would be looking into suspension mods.

how much gain is expected from cams? DOHC lookin about about $1200

Im also assuming its a 4.6 in there and not a 5.0, correct me if I am wrong on that. I had a shop inform me that headers on a 5.0 is easy, I can tell you headers on a 4.6 is a bitch. I agree on waiting till the motor is out since you just about have to pull it for headers on a 4.6.

yeah its a 4.6, and i heard that too. any idea on how much gain you get from cams?

long tubes were easy for me. did it in the driveway and never removed the k member. just took a little patience. i would work on suspension..the supercharger doesnt mean anything if u cant hold the power on the ground. (kinda like the boat im in)
