stock c/c plate adjustment with bolts
I'm in need of a major alignment as my car is pretty low with 4 cylinder fox body springs cut half a coil. I still have the stock c/c plates but have read a little bit that people drilled the rivets out and put bolts in their place to give more adjustment? Can anyone shed a little more light on this for me as to how this is done, where to get these c/c bolts, etc. Thanks.

I would say, do it right and get the CC plates. If you start drilling holes into your strut towers then need to put in cc plates later, you might have screwed yourself.

Im pretty sure on a regular alignment on mustangs (and lots of other fords that have this setup), you HAVE to drill the rivets out, then loosen the bolts and (usually use a hammer or something), shift the strut over a bit.
