new mustang owner wit electrical problem

i have a 97 shinoda boss wit a 4.6.....when i pulled into work today i noticed a squealin and then a wire burnin smell.....when stopped smoke was comin from the fan.....any info or tips this is my first stang and first ford

the electric fan motor probably blew or seized up then shorted out

ok wut if the fan still comes on and cools but all of a sudden the batt wont hols a charge?

because the battery has a load draw from the bad fan

yea i spin all underground music.....and the batt tested as good this morning someone told me its the alternator...........i cant even jump it off it even on cables it doesnt raise the batt enough to start all i get is click click click
