rear end leak
my 04 gt is leaking oil where the diff meets the diff. My question is how much do you think this will cost me at the ford dealership? Its been leaking pretty badly so i havent driven it much, do you think anything else could be messed up, bearings, diff, gears? how much would a bearing swap be since theyll be in there already, ive got 75k on it.

Do you mean where the diff meets the cover or the driveshaft? You said where the diff meets the diff??

Well if the cover is leaking then its a simple repair and you should do it yourself. If the pinion seal is leaking, then thats something you should get Ford to fix.

i had it leaking from the tfront pinion seal, the part cost me $14 and i just removed the drive shaft, and used a gear puller to remove the yoke. i also have a lift so access was easy but not a hard job

sorry, its pinion side where the leak is. i dont feel comfortable fixing that myself. If i screw it up ill just have to pay someone to do it again. so you all think 100 - 150 is what i should expect to pay?
