VACUUM HOSE QUESTION
I knew I had a leak somewhere because when I am going over 50 mph and I push in the clutch the rpm's flutter up and down and the car will die. but it idles fine at when I am under 35 or so. I just threw the vacuum leak code and I don't have a repair manual yet. Where are the lines that I should check and if you can, post pictures of underhood and explain where they are please. Thanks guys. By the way, only 380 miles on new motor.

all of the vaccum lines are somehow connected to the intake manifold. There is one going to the egr valve, fuel rail pressure sensor, a/c, and there is vaccum bieng sucked through the pcv valve and valve covers. You cannot use open breather filters on the valve covers unless the pcv port on the intake manifold is plugged. If you dont that will cause a vaccum leak. A bad egr valve will cause a vaccum leak. Check for unplugged lines or cut lines. It normally takes a pretty big leak to trip the CEL. It can also be cause by a cracked intake manifold or bad intake gasket.
