i thought plugs should last alot longer then 5k miles.

but i guess when you drive it hard you can expect them not to last as long.

just bought a set of autolite platinums for $20 and my dads friend works at autozone so im swapping the wires for a set of boschs

Like I said just run the Autolites or Motorcarfts, your not running forced induction so the crazy expensive plugs aren't needed.

Did you not read what I said run MSD or Ford Motor Sport wires, but you'll do what you want and don't listen to ppl that know what there doing. If you still have a missfire then it's the injectors.

my dads friend works at autozone and she swapped out some old wires i had laying around for the bosch's for free.
if i was gonna pay for a set of wires i would have bought FMS or went with a live wire/screamin demon ignition setup.

if its my injectors whats the best way to clean them? ive ran fuel injector cleaner in it a few times before i had this problem and ive been running 89 octane in it for awhile.

i have another set of injectors that came with my pi intake they are off a 06 lincon towncar but they are the newer style injectors and not sure what size they are.

Run some Seafoam in it you can put it in the gas tank. Should clean it up if not check the wiring to the injectors.

I don't agree with above seafoam idea, but thats just my opinion. Next thing to check would likely be the coil packs. Has the fuel filter been changed recently? Thats another possible culprit. My want to find a shop and have them stick it on a computer and check the injector pulses and the coil packs.

i dont have a clue when the fuel filter was last changed,i havent changed it since ive had the car ive put about 8k miles on it. i have a new fuel filter just gotta put it in.

im prob gonna just put the new injectors i have from the crown vic in,i have the wiring harness for the injectors but i gotta see if it will work,if not american muscle makes and adapter kit for the injectors.

i dont know why the injectors would be clogged in the first place, ive used lucas fuel system cleaner a few times and been running 89.
im better off starting with a new fuel filter and swapping the injectors instead of spending money on coil packs if they arent bad.

heres something that may help, its free and it may be the issue, I felt like an idiot when it happened to me. Push all your injector connections in, a loose wire could throw you off and dump money you done need to
