According to Steeda guidelines it should take about 2 1/2 hours to install. The difficulty is rated at medium, which means that if you have good technical experience working on your car you should be fine.
If you have any doubts, bring it to a technician.

it shouldn't take near that long.

the install is as easy as they come. don't waste labor money on an install, do it yourself.

my install took about 1 hour including the time it took to unbolt the drivers seat and install the adjustable clutch pedal stop from steeda.

I went according to the Steeda site guidelines so if it really only takes about an hour than that's pretty sweet.
I'm assuming that still depends on your level of experience though, which I've learned never to guess at online.
I also agree on not wasting money with a tech but only if you can do it yourself.
I guess I just don't feel like telling anyone to go gung-ho anymore.

yep. gotta cover all sorts of skill levels. someone that has a good concept of the system should be able to takle it in less time. even less if you have done it before.

Thanks, I'm an old school mechanic, Definetly not as much room in a 97 GT as my 68 Fastback, but my son is learning how to work on his own car, so I will help when needed, but it sounds like we can handle it. The reason I am asking for direction, is that the kit hasn't arrived so I haven't looked at the instructions. I thank you for you Info.

Donnie
