Default Brake swap

I have a friend with a wrecked '96 cobra and I was wondering if anybody knows if it would be possible to swap them for the oem brakes on my '00 gt or If it would even be an upgrade.

Thanks

definably a good upgrade, the front should swap easy, the back needs some sort of bracket or something so I would swap the hole rear end over.

Now that would be going a little overboard. Don't swap over the whole rear. Just unbolt the rear calipers and bolt them onto your car

Im pretty sure you need the cobra brackets or something.

http://www.americanmuscle.com/mustan...acket-kit.html

Bought the Ford Racing Rear Cobra Calipers but now you need the extra parts to install them? Then you need the Ford Racing Rear Caliper Bracket Kit with Rotors available from AmericanMuscle. This Rear Caliper Bracket Kit is used to install Mustang Cobra, Mach 1, or Special Edition rear calipers on a 1994-04 Mustang GT. The Kit includes production 11.65" rotors, caliper mounting brackets, moan braces, dust shields and dust shield bolts. [/B

You are 100% correct. He said his friend has a wrecked Cobra. If he unbolts the rears from the wrecked car and bolts them on to his car he is golden. What part of this scenario are you having trouble with?

Oy, the brackets from the cobra, will bolt up to the gt, allowing the use of the rear brakes from the cobra, understand?
