Default Building up for Kenne Bell

I'd like to run 14psi kenne bell supercharger. I just want to make the car amazingly fast. I don't know much about this so break it down for me. So tell me anything that I would need to do to my car to make this happen. I'm not doing this tomorrow it will be a long project don't a little bit at a time but I'm patient. Since I'm spreading this over a few years my budget is nearly unlimited I just need to know in advance how much parts will cost so I can start saving. I've decided on the Kenne bell so don't wast my time telling me about other superchargers. That whine from the kenne bell is the best! I have been looking at cheaper options but I don't think I'll be happy with out that supercharger WHINE!

I've already up graded the drive shaft, full exhaust, transmission (Tremec TKO), 3:73 gears, plenum TB, shifter and clutch. Whats next?

Nice. I see you stated an unlimited budget. But first what is your goal in terms of horsepower and what is your plan for your car; for get PSI for now? It is great that you already have new tranny, you won't need your intake if you go with KB.

If goal is > than 500 rwhp be prepared for spend some serious cash as you will need to upgrade heads, full exhaust, stock fuel rails/lines, tank and pumps, plus your rearend axles and diff, not to mention suspension mods.

For my build with 500 rwhp goal (currently in progress) parts and costs (note I already have a blower and aftercooler) total cost is 8K not including blower. If you add a KB with inner cooler add another 6K. Below details my costs including shipping to give you an idea for me which is why I stopped at 500 rwhp and for a street car that is plenty fast. The key is to get your power to the ground. If you have unlimited budget for > 600 rwhp go for it.

MMR800 18cc Dish Forged $3,000.00
CMS 2.5 Blower Cams and Comp Spring $776.00
60 lb injectors Siemans $359.00
Vortech 3.125" Pulley $88.00
XTD Stage III Clutch $228.00
FEL PRO Head Gaskets $100.00
FEL PRO Oil Pan Gasket $40.00
ARP Head Bolt Changing Kit $214.95
UPR Lower Control Arms $175.00
T/A 8.8" Girdle $159.95
Kenne Bell Boost Pump $260.00
Cobra Oil Pump and Pick-up $65.00
Solid Motor Mounts $119.00
MRT H Pipe $482.95
Sniper Commando $499.95
7Q oil pan $235.00
Radiator $241.00
NGK spark plugs

Around 500hp sounds good. maybe more. I havent really decided on an hp number. I just want a lot and of course I want the power to get to the wheels.

What is "MMR800 18cc Dish Forged $3,000.00 "?

I have an upgraded clutch but it was on the car when I got it. I'll have to find out how good it is.

Slow down there pardner....

You are gonna have to steer as well as stop your ride, so spend some of that $$$ on suspension, as Triangle has suggested. You need good tires and sub-frame support and recommend you do these things PRIOR to stuffing high HP under your hood.

Is this car going to be a daily driver or a weekend track car?

Been there, done that. Granted on a different starting platform, but that didn't stop me from starting from scratch by pulling the old motor with 60k miles on it and replacing it with a brand new FRPP Aluminator long block. All it took was a boatload of cash and about 8 weeks of work on the part of some talented guys at the speed shop. I'm still tweaking the car some 8-9 months later with additional suspension pieces and brake parts. It's nice to go fast, but it feels really good to be able to stop that runaway freight train too!

Okay. The car will be a daily driver. Although I do have a second car for Cleveland winters. Also this will not be done overnight so I'll have time to acquire another car if needed. What do I need to upgrade for the SC and where do I go next?

Here is every thing that I have already done to my car.

Upper and lower Control Arms,
Struts, Socks,
DriveShaft
Long Tube Headers, H-pipe, Cat-back
CAI
Plenum and TB
Diablo tune
Pulleys (I know the pullies and tune and possibly the Plenum and TB will go before I supercharge it)
373 gears
Transmission
Shifter
Clutch
315/35/17 tires on 17x10.5 wheels

Give me a step by step build up. List parts and brands to get in the order I should get them to handle about 500hp. You already know what I have so just tell me where to go next. That would be great. Thanks for the information.
