Has anyone lowered a 99+ GT and kept the stock shocks and struts?? I am having springs installed with the stock shocks and struts still in place. They have 34,000 miles on them. Is my car going to ride likeShiznit?? Thanks.

you can use stock shocks. how far are you lowering it?..you might need a bumpsteer kit.....this could be a time to step up to a better shock ie. kyb.koni, bistern

I have the caster/camber kit, its going on at the same time as the springs. But I dont have the money for shocks and struts right now. I'm only lowering it 1.5 inches. Why would i need a bumpsteer kit? And what exactly does it do?

you shouldn't need a bumpsteer kit, esp for a 1.5 drop.. i am pulling my illumina setup off of my 98 and putting it on the 02 i am buying mon. found an 02 mineral grey w/black leather 5speed premium package with all options , 10000 miles owned by a 63 year old man and got him to 15500. car is immaculant and all of my bolt ons are interchangable.. ordered the 4.10 gears yesterday.
