Can someone tell me why I can't break 13s with what I have? I've pulled a 2.0 60 ft and got a best 14.1!!! Maybe I'm not shifting like I should or something but I really want 13s and I just can't seem to get there when I should be.
I have that same prob but 2.1 60' and 14.1. I have similar mods to yourself, but automatic. My problem is my race weight is around 3700. Let my friend who is 125 pounds lighter than me and he pulled off a 13.90@99.14
Well I'm only 175 lbs so I don't think that's a problem. My times are without a spare so I lost a little weight there... any other ideas guys?

Your 18" wheels are hurting you a little and "yes" some DR's would definitely help.

Yeah I'd love some DRs but getting those for 18s is an arm and a leg.

Something is wrong even for street tires. I ran a best 14.1 @ 100 mph with a 2.357 60 foot. You should be well into the high 13's with those 60' times. R u power shifting of tranny shifting? I also got 18" wheels and street tires.

I'm not powershifting, but I'm kinda weary of doing that because of the strain it puts on the engine.

try it you'll hit 13's on street tires. Just don't do 9 passes down the track power shifting.
