Default Engine Squeels during hard shift.

Ok, if I really hammer the gas pedal something in the engine compartment squeels when the car shifts (AOD). Only does it at high RPM's. I noticed it the other day when a rice burner wanted to get embarrassed on the highway. I floored the gas pedal and as soon as the car shifted it made a very loud squeel. It sounds like the serpentine belt might be making the noise but I'm not for sure. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

definately could be. check and see how the tension is on the belt. If it has a lot of miles it would be best to replace it anyways. I would get a gatorback and if you have oreilly's where you live i believe they warranty the belts. not sure though.
