Default How much power???

Hey guys, check my sig. How much RWHP do you think my engine can take, right now I'm at 417. My tuning guy won't give me a straight answer. I do not want to intercool it right now, so just what's on it now. Right now I am at 10-11 psi, A/F 11.5 across the board. Not sure of the timing, but my guy says he has a conservative tune in her so I don't break anything. As a side note, I grenaded my stock motor at 54K miles, 30K of that she was supercharged. Had the new motor put in 6000 miles ago. Still has stock 2 valve heads though. On second thought, factor in both intercooled and not, too. Thanks.

I wouldnt put more than that with stock heads. Yer only as strong as your weakest link. Get head.

I would say 700+ with a built short block, but the most I've seen on a boosted 4.6 2v with no intercooler was low 500's

I made 516 with stock heads and valve train. Heads do not determine the dependability unless you're spinning a lot of rpm.

It depends on the amount of boost. You can spin it to 6500 with upgraded springs/retainers.
