HELP! Cannot Attach Heater Core Hoses...

I still couldn't get it on there, so I used heater hose and a clamp. I had to use a longer length that the original due to the hose wanting to kink when it made the 90 degree turn.

Let it kink. As long as it doesn't completely stop the flow. The kink will take the place of the restrictor that is inside of the stock hose. Without the restrictor you have a good chance of blowing your heater core which isn't fun to replace.

What resistor? Wont this cause a back up or deficiency is the rest of the system?
