Not your normal brake question...

Now I have a bit of a dilemma. I got my car running and everything is good, ready to drive it, except one problem.

My hydroboost. I took off the master cylinder from the hydroboost and a few pieces came out. Now I think I've got them in right, but my problem is whenever I start the car, the hydroboost pushes the pushrod into the master cylinder and applies the brakes. I've tried a couple different orientations with the setup, and I just get frustrated after a while, throw my 15mm wrench across the garage, and leave it alone for a bit.

But now this is really pissing me off, since it's the only thing holding my back from insuring and registering the car and driving it now.

Does anyone have any experience or ideas? I'm kinda at a loss here.

I found this online, I hope it is of some help. I'm not an expert on this, but from what I can figure out from the diagram, it seems like two possabilities, a lack of preassure on the power piston side of things, or too much preassure on the spool valve side of things :)
