Think they're just darker from 01-04. I upgraded my crappy chrome ones for some smoked ones off ebay for $100.

The 99-00 were all chrome inside the 01-04 were black & chrome inside. You can go to Wal-mart and get a headlight cleaner kit for like 15, 20 bucks and they'll look like new again my buddy did it to his F-150 the other day looks good.

Another way (and much cheaper) to fix the fogged lights is to start with 1000 grit paper to get the rough spots out and then go to 2000 and finally 3000 grit followed by the Meguires clear plastic polish.

Be sure and wet it down while you're sanding too. You'll only need one or two sheet of sandpaper each so don't but the 6pack cause you won't need it.

I just done this to my 99 GT vert and they look nearly new, 1000% better, all for about $7. If you have a rotary polisher - use it, the polishing will go faster. The sanding is short and sweet but the polishing took about 30 min to get the clarity I wanted.

the smoked versions do look better imo though, but if you dont mind the chrome ones you can just clean them up as mentioned above. good luck
