i will be dynoing my car hopefully tomorrow with 255 single focus pump, BAP, and 60lb injectors, with 90 M LMAF so it will be interesting to see my max.

with a single 255, I made 436rw with the pump at 10.9v and with 60# injectors and still had plenty of pump left.
actually the injector should hold up fine as i have plenty of that left, thanx for the info!
Put down 14.6psi of boost on a very hot and humind day and 432 to the tire, concerned about a cool nite at the strip!

If you're really worried, for a little extra pump for not a lot of money, re wire your pump with a relay and better wire to ensure you have 12v to the pump at all times. I've seen 488rw with a hf 255 rewired. I only mentioned the injectors because I've seen a lot of people go by the max hp injector math and still had major issues when they "should" have had plenty of injector left. They changed their injectors and their issues stopped with no reasonable explanation from the tuners. (Lidio & Greg Banish tunes btw)

This has been done after I dumped the 98 tank and went with a 97 tank and pickup, 12v at all times! Tuner said I'm good to go but you know the ole' second guessing thoughts
then why is it i'm being told that i'm maxing out my 255 at 350 and 380 with 42lb injectors?
The Walbro standard pressure 255 lph pumps deliver 255 lph at 43.5 psi, with a 13.5V power source capable of providing 10A or so. At lesser supply voltages the output drops, here's a graph of a typical 255 lph pump's characteristics:
Note that at 12.0V supply voltage, and 43.5 psi, the flow is only 57 gph (216 lph). 57 gph = 353 lb/h, still enough to support 569 HP or so--in theory.
What fuel rail pressure are you running, does the FRP stay steady at WOT and peak power?
Knowing the actual FRP, at WOT and peak power, will quickly highlight whether or not the fuel pump is maxed out...
