I guess someone is stupid then, and one of them is me. After the wrong part came in again I decided to drive back out to the ford dealership and not leave until I found out the correct part name. Talked to someone different today than I did the other day. The part I am looking for is not a valve stem seal or a valve cover grommet (well sort of). It is called a valve cover isolator grommet. So after three days of dealing with this, talking to about 10 different people and making myself look like a f**king tool on the forums we have finally figured out what the correct name of the part is. And they are not cheap either. They run just over $10.00 per piece.

Stupid part names. If I were to name it, I'd call it a Valve Cover Stud Seal or Grommet...

Thanks for the info by the way.

I called a ford service center the other day to get a labor quote (Just for laughs.) and the tech actually asked me what engine was in a 2003 mustang GT!!!

BTW if you're curious, a single head costs $910, an engine gasket kits costs $430 and labor is $1,004. LOL-HAHA!

Well at least I wasn't the only one dealing with a dumba** at a ford dealership. With prices like that, it pays to know what the heck you're doing under the hood. Those prices still look kind of steep, even without the labor.
