Default removing mach 460 sound system help

i got my door panels off and cant figure out how to pull the tweeters in my 96 GT, i gotta pull them off to take off my mirrors (or at least i think so) andyone know what im supposed to do?

Hey man you should be able to pop the mesh covers off the speakers(tweeters), there will be two screws holding the tweeter to the casing and then behind the tweeter itself there is a hole, inside the hole there is a screw that holds the casing on to the door (where the mirror bolts up at). Disconnect the tweeter wires and pull up and out on the casing it should come right off.

As far as the setup in the back(trunk speakers), it took me about 3 hours to get those two speakers and the amps out but I went into the job not knowing what had to be done. It unbolts from the bottom and there are two amps that you will have to disconnect, if you're even planning on taking that part of the system out.

Thanks man. Ya I'm just taking off the front tweeters so I can take off my mirrors. It seems like the mesh cover is glued on soo hopefully I'm wrong and it will pop off
