Default help my 0 to 60 time

Ok so with all my mods listed below, I cannot break 5.5 secconds for 0-60. I know that my problem is about 99% traction (I spin until I hit third gear).

So what are my options? Should I work on suspention, or should I just buy wider rear tires? (I have the stock 8" or so). Would lowering the car any help?

I'm not so sure lowering the car would allow you the traction you are looking for. It's very true that you can have alll the horses in the stable but if you can't plant them, it's all for nothing. Suspension is the way to go.

Wider tires and suspension mods. I don't think lowering springs help you in a straight line (could be wrong).

Check out the Suspension sticky in the 4.6 section and the choosing the right tire sticky in the wheel and tire section.

are SFC worth it? My local shop was trying to talk me into SFC's as my next MOD. How much do SFC's cost approx? And more importantly, do they get in the way if I never needed to do any maintenance under the car? (replace my catback, replace the tranny, anything under to the car where the SFCs would have to be removed before any work can be done)
