Hey guys i decided to swap in 4:10s this weekend and all i have to say is Wow. Alot bigger diffrence now and it feels like everygear pulls just as hard. Shoulda went witht he 4:10s to begin with, Gas mileage went down just a tad nuttin to big tho. I also find myself starting in second now haha. IF you guys are havin trouble with deciding 4:10s or 373's go witht he 4:10s the rpm diffrence is only about 200 rpms.

It's not the gas milage that I'm worried about. It's how my car is gonna respond when I hit the gas. Won't the 4.10's slow it down top end.

NO!!! NO!!! NO!!! The 4.10's wont slow your top end down. In fact, I got my car to 155 faster with the 4.10's than I ever did with the stock gears. I had full bolt ons and probably a little faster then a GT with out all I had, but you will still feel a huge difference in the pull in fifth gear.
Some jackass thats never had 4.10's in the car comes here and says 4.10's are horrible for topend. Not true what so ever.

Its not much of a difference. My 4.10's put me at or about 2400 rpms at 70 mph.

That's cool dude. What rpm's are you turning at 70 and 75 mph?? I would bet you'd be at 2600 @ 70 which is crappy IMO. With my 373's I'm at 2400 @ 70 so there is no way I'm going to get 410's.

Since I have a 97 GT automatic, would I be able to adjust it with a regular superchips handheld or an SCT2?? I just dont want to have to get a dyno tune until further modding occurs.
