Default wiring help

So i need to locate some sensors and wires. i need a +12 volt source thats on both in crank and run, without skipping. also need a +12 volt source in run only. i know very little about wiring. i also need to find the VR sensor, CLT, and Air intake temp sensor. the ford CD i have is very vague in these area's if anyone could shed some light as to where i can splice into these, it would be much appreciated.

What are you doing; before you burn your car to the ground?

still doin research, they released DIY PNP, but they dont have it for the mustangs yet. they said all they really need is a supplier for the EEC-V connectors (both ends) and they will be good to go. but if they dont release it before december, im getting the MS-II 3.0 i just gotta learn how the hell ford wired up this car.

Megasquirt didn't seem to difficult to wire up. You just need to understand wiring, relays, all that good stuff. I'm currently working on my 79 16v scirocco. I picked up a throttle body i desperately needed to wiring up megasquirt. I wish i could finish it right now but circumstances change things.

Any idea how much more power you might put down over stock with MS?

Not trying to sound like an @ss by any means here but.........

If you do not know where to wire a hot with the ign off, and a hot with the key on, I have a bad feeling you are going to struggle with MS installation / use.

You need to either look at a fuse box diagram, or get a volt/ohm meter and pinout your power needs.

Radio fuse should onl have power with the key in the acc and on position but it may turn off during cranking. A fuel injector or starting system fuse should have power at all times besides the off position.

You do need to be careful not to pull to many amps or you will pop fuses all day. Just dont be like a lot of people and put a 30amp fuse in place of a 15amp to prevent it from blowing.

yea dont get me wrong, its not like im a total newb to wiring, i just havent really looked at the wiring diagrams for the mustang, and i dont have the car with me to pin it out atm - and to make it worse, the ford service cd i got doesnt really have a ton of info on wiring. its not like a military aircraft that has flight stations showing where everything is at lol.

i was kinda in a rush in my first post and said that 'i know nothing about wiring' but i meant to say that i know nothing about 'mustang wiring' - was really just lookin to see if anyone could provide me some spots to check to cut down time from me having to spend about a week tearing apart harnesses.
