tranny upgrade?

How much HP and TQ can the manual 08 mustang gt transmission handle?

500hp top, probably around 420tq.
at least i know a guy who ran a whipple on his 07GT with stock 5 speed and he had the numbers

btw buddy you're in the wrong section this is 96-04 4.6s 2 and 4vs they have a section dedicated to the s197 bodystyle.
