injector question

Default injector question

i have a 99 gt i think they have 19 pound injectors correct me if im wrong. need to know if 21 pound injectors will make a difference in performance? mine have been in the car since i bought it think its time for new ones. i can get these cheap so just need to know

Didn't know they made 21#ers. As far as performance, they will do nothing.

Thats correct. The orange is 19# and the 21's are pink. 99-01 came with 19's and the 02-04's come with 21lb. If you switch to the 21# injectors you will need a MAF particularly tuned for 21's. There isnt much of a difference, but I just went through this with my buddys Saleen.

You can get the MAF for a '02 GT but you will need a new MAF wiring harness because they changed out the Temp charge sensor position and its now incorporated in the MAF. All it is is two new pins in the plug and each one is on either end of the plug.
