Default maf question

You can see all my mods in my sig but i was wondering would i benefit at all from a larger maf. If so what size?

You should be fine with the OEM MAF...

The stock MAF pegs (4.99V out which is all the PCM will recognise) at 1220 kg/h air flow. At 4.8V it's 1100 kg/h = 2425 lb/h. If we assume 12.5:1 AFR (n/a, arguably a bit rich) then that 2425 lbs of air will need 194 lbs of fuel to go with it--194 lbs/h of gasoline is 388 HP at 0.5 BSFC (Brake Specific Fuel Consumption, 0.5/HP is generally used for n/a engines).

Running forced induction (11.5:1 AFR and 0.6 BSFC) the stock MAF would support 352 HP at 4.8V

Pegged, at 4.99V out, there would be 2690 lb/h of air--using the same AFR and BSFC as above that would be 430HP n/a, and 390 HP f/i...
