Default Good Or Bad Idea? (PICS)

Hey, Everyone.

Im looking to gets some ventilation under the hood (because florida heat).

So i thought i could bore the honey comb out.

and then cut the oval out.



So tell me what you think of my idea.

sounds good to me,what did you do to get to the bolts under the hood, did you just cut the heatshield out of the way or take the whole thing off

I dont see it being a problem, as long as you dont mind cleaning all the stuff out that gets through the holes

I would get something to protect from water getting in the engine bay and make sure it is very secure as it may be more prone to coming off on the highway

In the end it will have next to no effect. Other than a dirty engine bay. These car's cooling system are plenty capable of handling Florida heat, otherwise they wouldn't sell many mustangs.

retarded idea, the amount of drag is gonna be increased, get on the freeway and watch your scoop get all floppy goose. I tried.

Not that I'm going to try this (not saying it hasn't crossed my mind a time or two tho), but could you make a setup like a shaker starting with this idea?
I know, in the end after all the effort and money, you could have gotten a mach1 hood and shaker and put them on...
