Default Weird Idle

I had my exhaust put on (new 2.25 piping from H pipe brackets back, Flow 44s and new 3" echo tips) and noticed my idle was weird. It doesnt seem to be steady at times. Like it goes up and down 200 rpms or so.
What could this be? I hit the TPS with a screwdriver to see if it affected anything, nothing.
Do I need to clean out my IAC, if so, how?

Thanks guys,
Phil

Did you already have a Cat back? If not, the free flowing exhaust has messed up your Idle decay. Some people will argue that adding exhaust wont mess up your decay but I've seen that it does.

Start with up plugging your battery for a 5 minutes (car off, of course) and if it doesn't relearn the Idle then you'll need a tune. (Supposing of course the IAC and TPS didn't miraculously start to die at the same time you add exhaust.)

No, just added the catback. And have to add, it does sound good.

That would be ironic if it did that.

:edit: I have 88K, when should I clean my IAC? What is the proper way to do that?

It could be that or the fact that since everything is flowing out much faster now you dont have a lot of back pressure on the motor causing a fluxuation in the idle? Just guessing

Less technical but yes, that could be what's happening. (it's what I said in layman speak) It's the possible cause of the Decay/idle to fluctuate.

Also clean your MAF sensor, it caused my idle to jump and the motor to die when I pushed in the clutch to slow down.
