Does it have to be in the engine bay for best results or could you have thrown them in the trunk?

I do not no!

You got off my topic so I have question for you. This winter I'm putting in a 04 Cobra motor with the Whipple s/c 15psi. You said you're making all must 20psi, is that on pump gas? I thought 15psi was max? I read somewhere on the forum you have around 640rwdhp. Are you using 1 or 2 fuel pump(s)? Someone on the forum said I needed 2 for 600rwdhp.

Thanks

This is bin going on for more them a year now. At night with all the lights on the gauges and head lights pulsate every like 30 seconds when I'm driving down the road. When I start her up, the airride compressor gose on and then 20 seconds later the 2 intercooler fans go on. When the fans go on the idea drops down to 700rpm and then goes back up to 1200rpm. I think I'm just using to much power.

Do you all think I need

A ground kit? Which brand and which one? I know they are big on the inports but has anybody down one?

A bigger alternator? Which brand and which one?

A different batter? Which brand and which one?

Thanks

haha damn, way off topic huh? I think you should get Optima battery, and for an alternator I don't have really have any "facts" on different ones... So i'm not going to say anything. The body kit, i have the steeda kit on my car, and its xenon. I like it because it's not fiberglass..

So the Optima battery, and the alternator you think will fix my problems with the electrical. Plus this weekend I'm putting in 2 12" subs and 1 2000 watt peek amp.

I've seen stronger alternators advertised in MM&FF. Move the MSDs and TWO Optimas to the trunk. Keeps things dry, cooler, and moves weight to the back. If you get the new Cobra motor, FRPP has cams and a different whipple available. Those and a dyno tune have pushed that stock motor to 601 RWHP.

Best of luck
