Default Idle dropping in my auto

When I put my car into drive, the rpms (I would say more than not) sometimes drops from like 6-700 at idle all the way down to 100-200 and juts back up causing the car to move on it's own. In a couple cases, it has even died. I think I heard some other members having this issue. Any help much appreciated.

Check your IAC (Idle Air control) Some will argue that cleaning them will help them. I've tried cleaning 2 of them with no luck.

Clean your maf

Do you have a CEL?
