The LM 1's are just resonators (no muffler) and the LM 2's are an actual straight through style muffler.

The LM 1's are significantly louder.

IMO if you're running a catted mid pipe i'd do the LM 1's, but if it's a o/r mid pipe i'd do the LM 2's.

the lm1 looks like a gutted muffler and if you run that with an o/r mid pipe it will be very loud, unless that is your goal? my friend has slp lt o/r x pipe and lm1 on an 06 gto and it is too loud! not fun to drive around to much. i would go with lm2 regardless. you u want louder you can then just get the lm1 mufflers and just bolt in place of the lm2. but i think the lm2 will be loud enough, that is what i have on my gt stang with an o/r x pipe and lt header. sounds good but only b/c of the the engine that has cams that lope IMO.

even with a catted x slp loudmouth are raspy, id say get the lm2s if you want tone unless you plan on running the stock midpipe
