Default Hahahaha.. uhh suspension help please

Well, the car wasn't squatting with the lower control arms in the location that the new brackets put it in, the car rode stiff as hell, and actually when launching the whole car felt like it lifted up and not just the front.

so i took the relocation brackets off, and put the lower control arms in the stock location, and now it squats, it gets better traction when launching but..

NOW I LOOK LIKE A REDNECK'D CAMARO!!! WTF

how the hell did that happen? the only thing i can check or attest to is, maybe the spring perch on the new lower control arms are moved more forward than the stock ones were and it's causing it to lift the rear up?

anyway i wanna correct it but still get that nice squatting / traction that i've gotten by having it up like this.. any suggestions?

Its a common thing for the sn's to lift...Thats one of the ways they plant the tires to the pavement..

You put the springs on the perches with the pigtails pointing the same direction I assume? If you got them backwards it will sit significantly higher...

Looks like you torqued the LCA's when the car was still in the air. Loosen them back up and lower the car to the ground and tighten them under load of your car.

Dude, that wouldn't do it that badly... Its not that... The lcas are designed to use a drop mount, so the spring perch is moved up. Simple soultion, put the brackets back on... The lift is a good thing

well, ran it last night with the thing jacked up after checking everything and finding nothing wrong.. well.. it obviously did something cus the *** end romped down and it took off, cutting 1.8's instead of 2.2's.. propelled me to a nice 13.684 @ 100 - need to retune the fuel so i might be even faster.
