Default street and road course Sn95 shocks and struts

all right the car is a 96 mustang gt stock. I'm looking to get better springs and shocks they got 120k on em. i want a stiffer ride better handling but no massive drop stock ride height or a small drop. my main concern is the shocks. like i said i want a bit stiffer of a ride. i want the stang to turn again and be able to take bumps with out smacking the dang floor. so if any one has experiences with aftermarket shocks and struts that would be great. and money is an issue i don't have 2k to dump in the suspension.

I had KYB AGX adjustable w/ Eibach springs and even on the softer setting I found the ride a little rough but not bad
I know have Tokico D-Spec adjustable and H&R Race springs and on the soft setting the car is very nice. But I put in an IRS at the same time I did the Tokico/H&R upgrade so my ride quality is probably more from that than my Shock/Strut/Spring choice
