Don't you mean the opposite?

Yeah, you do mean the opposite....gears lower your top end and higher your low end torque....Honest mistake...I hope???

Gears DO NOT LOWER YOUR TOP-END.

yeah my fault. i said it backwards. i need to get a tuner though. after i got the gears installed, i got on the highway and my speedo said i was doing 135 mph. i know i wasnt so im just curious as to how far off will the speedo get after installing th 410 gears? and also the faster i go, do the speedo misread gap get larger or was i doing around 120 when my speedo said 135?

yeah the gap does get bigger cause I bottomed my speedometer on the freeway and I know I wasn't going 150. BTW there isn't a greater feeling than looking at a bottomed out speedo :D

If, for instance, you have a 99-04 with a stock ratio of 3.27, your actual speed with 4.10s when your uncorrected speedometer read 135 mph is 3.27/4.10 X 135 = 108 mph. BTW your odometer is off by the same formula, if you have actually gone 100 miles your odometer will have read 4.10/3.27 X 100 = 125 miles.
