I checked and tightened the handle and when i put my hand on it it stills vibrates pretty good while under hard accel.

how many miles are on the trans and what's you power level? does it do it when it's out of gear and just rolling? At idle?

the tranny has about 73K on it. I am in need of a new TOB could this be the culprit?. It only does it when I mash the gas and only towards mid to upper RPM range. I also haven't checked the shift stops if they were loose or not.

well i have checked everything re tightened everything and the shifter still rattles at high rpm. I noticed the shifter has a lot of play even when in gear it still has some loose play i can move it from side to side while in gear. Any suggestions? maybe if i put some grease down there think it might remedy the noise? think it just might be the bad throw out bearing? the noise is driving me nuts!

btw my power level is about 260whp nothing special

It may be that the plastic cup bushing at the business end of the shift lever has deteriorated, or was never transferred from the OEM shifter to the Tri-Ax--not moving this button is a common error when changing shifters...

^good point, I am guessing it is deteriorated, the tranny has 73K miles and that plastic cup has taken some abuse. I will look in to that, thanks cliffy.
