2000 Stang - BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL IF YOU ATTEMPT TO CHANGE YOUR PLUGS! 99-early '01 Heads are prone to shoting sparkplugs out because of a poor thread length in the head. It can be costly if it happens.

Dilo - No wires, just plugs. COP packs do not need to be changed.

Emann - It is probably a good idea to change the plugs and throw a nice set of wires on your ride.

Everyone - Our spark plugs are located under the fuel rail of the car. They can be removed without removing the fuel rails. with the use of extensions. Use only a little antiseize on the new plugs, and di-electric grease on the pluge ends.

Performance plug, change once a year - Copper plugs.

A plug that will last you 100k = platnum

A good life plug and performance = Denso or NGK Iridiums.

A BAD PLUG ANYTIME = Anything from bosch, +4 expecially.

They should already be gapped. It's always a good idea to check before you install them though. I think it is 0.052 inches.

.053 is stock gap. Changing them is easy as hell. I'm nowhere near mechanically inclined but did all 8 in 45 minutes. It took me longer finding the tools I needed than doing the work. Coil packs need not replaced. But will eventually wear out. They are about $130 a piece.

Socket set with extensions, 5/8" Spark plug socket, and I believe a 17mm socket for coils,.
