Long story short I threw a rod, this is my only car to get me, the gf and the baby all to work and daycare. So it just needs to be fixed. I have a npi motor that is ready to go, so ill prob be swaping it in for now, just to have a vehicle again. Question is... Can I bolt the pi intake to the npi heads? And how will it act seeing that my comp thinks its a pi motor?

yes you can bolt the pi manifold to the npi heads and i have no idea as far as the computer goes. I wanna say that theres a little mod you have to do to the pi manifold but im not positive. It might just be the thing with the themostat sensor.

i believe you need to run your COPs instead of the coil packs from the npi, that should take care of the ignition issues

why not just use the npi block and throw everything else on it from the old motor and put it in the car? when you threw the rod, did it damage the heads or something?

Because its another 100 bucks for head gaskets and another 100 bucks for headbolts. Money is tight and right now I just need to get myself and the gf to work, and the baby to daycare

Computer will run the NPI motor just fine.

yes but he needs to use ignition parts from his PI motor... he needs to use the COPs

Get the ford racing head changing kit. It comes with both gaskets, the head bolts, the works. I got mine for $120 back in May.
