Low Oil Sensor and other questions
Hey guys, been a while since i've been on here, but i got myself another Mustang and need some questions answered. First off i upgraded from a V6 to a V8, so its a new animal for me to tinker with. After i got the car the Low Oil light came on the dash, although the oil is at the right operating level. So i thought that the sensor is stuck or failed, i called the local parts store to find out that there apparently isn't a Low Oil Sensor? I was confused, i know the 5.0 has one, but does the 4.6, and if so where can i get one? Lastly, are there any trouble spots that you know of and i should address soon?

Im pretty sure they do have one becuase my "low oil" light comes on all the time even though I never let my oil level drop below operating levels, you can try reseting your computer to see if it clears the light, otherwise if you have good oil pressure I wouldnt worry about it (somone correct me if Im wrong). As far as trouble spots, just drive the car, get used to it and then you will see the quirks that need to be worked out, like when I got my car it needed a new exhaust, plugs and plug wire changed, and new struts and shocks. My mine thing right now though is not enough power but that will all change soon considering I just ordered a set of PI heads and some other goodies last night.
