Default Replacing spark plugs in my 96 GT?

Do I have to pull the fuel injector rail to replace the plugs or is there a trick? Seems like you can't go straight in because the rail's in the way???

When i did mine on my 96gt I used a set of swivel spark plug sockets. http://www.toolfetch.com/Category/Ha...ts/SK33302.htm Most auto parts stores sell them.

Sounds good. I tried adding a swivel to the spark plug socket I had but there wasn't wnough room to make the socket turn properly.

JC - Not sure how you got it by the fuel rail. That sits directly over the top of the spark plug holes which are straight up and down, not angled.

Not on mine they weren't, the rails were further inside than the spark plug holes. I don't get it, I had no clearance issues.

That's crazy, my rails are directly on top of the holes. They're a few inches above them but directly on top. Very strange!

Almost like you have an aftermarket rail or intake. Mine was all stock and the rails sat directly on top of the fuel injectors.

JC's right. On a stock NPI setup the fuel rail is not in the way when doing plugs. I've heard different with PI GT's, though. Post a picture, you may have a different intake or fuel rail.
