Default i did a dumb thing but now im lost

hey guys ok i did a dumb thing i ran out of fuel in the gas station as i was pulling in and than shut off, i put a full tank in it and it wont start before that it was perfect. i have done the basic stuff to it ie. check if it was gas, hit the fuel filter soon to replace, i try starter fuild at full blast and it rans somewhat so that why i think it a fuel thing i just hope its not the pump it there something eles i can check before i have to get really deep in this. i hope you guys can help me with this. dave

Reset the fuel pump. Open the trunk. Look at the cover protecting the driver's side taillight. There will be a red button. Push that button.

The "E" on your gas gauge means empty. When it gets close to the "E" that means it is time to fill up. No need to max out on gas mileage like Kramer.

+1 on pump fuse reset. I'm not sure what else would go wrong from running out of gas...

btw Seinfeld was a great show!

Once that happened to a Camaro at my dad's dealership. It turned off and wouldn't start because the fuel ran out. So, they put gas in it with fuel injector cleaner, finally got it to start and revved the hell out of it!! redline revv. At that instant, a big BOOM went off and a cloud of drak black smoke came out the tailpipes. The slomaro then idled smoothly.
Maybe your injectors are dirty due to the fuel pump sucking up dirt that may have gotten into your gas tank? idk but that slomaro incident was a trip:/
