I went with the H&R Sport Springs instead of the Eibach pro kit because I talked to many people on other mustang sites and everyone of them said they were disappointed with their Eibachs. A few of them had sold their Eibachs for the H&R Sport Springs and were very happy with the H&R's. Just my $0.02. I know its not much help I am just warning you to do some research on different springs before you buy them.

I chose Pro-Kit ( not installed yet) over H&R because of the price and because Eibach is more specific about their products regarding application. They differentiate springs by year and wheter it is hardtop or convertible. I just did not trust other manufacturers who advertise their springs to fit 79+.

I made sure it would fit my car. I wouldnt of bought them if I had any doubt about them fitting. Not argueing just showing that they specify years just as much as Eibach I believe. I could be wrong about Eibach year specifications so if I am then let me know.

ORIGINAL: 98_GT

look for some ibach springs or racing ibach kit they lower 1 to 3 in
You mean an Eibach Pro-Kit (lowers ~1-1.5")
OR
Eibach Sportlines (lowers~1.5-2.5")
OR
Eibach has a Drag Launch Kit too.....

I am considering the Eibach Pro-Kit for my 2002 GT convertible. I think the 1.3" & 1.4" drop will be pretty good, as I'd be concerned about lowering it much more than that.
Is the Pro-Kit an easy self-install?
Any concerns I should have about them?
When I go to an 18" wheel will there be any problems?
Thanks for any help.

springs are very easy to install, and yes you'll be able to run 18s with the prokit.

Put my H&R's on yesterday and it wasnt as difficult as I thought it was going to be. Took about 3-4 hours for the install. I will be posting before and after pics within the next day or so.
