Default 2000 GT Dash Rattle?

Ok, it's driving me nuts!!! I work at a custom stereo/performance shop, and we took things down a little ways, but did not fix the problem. Before I spend a couple of days tearing the dash down to the firewall, has anybody heard of this before?

The rattle sounds like it's coming from directly behind the instrument cluster, but almost at the firewall. It has gotton progressively worse, namely on bumpy roads, but has now reached the point of unbearable. Anybody have any thoughts???
