xpipe compatability between years...

I just picked up a 96 gt and happen to have an o/r x pipe for 05+ laying around. Any chance i could get that to fit onto the 96 gt?

My guess is probably not, but just for sh*** and giggles you could always slide beneath the '96 and get a quick visual comparison between the two. I'm pretty sure they're two completely different pieces, though. I don't think anything except maybe some rearend internals is interchangeable between '05-up and SN-95's.
