hey guys just bought another 03 gt to drive everyday. i am going to install a trans go shift kit and was wondering if anybody on here has installed one? if so how long did it take you?

the kit isnt that hard to install.just have a clean work area and dont rush things.i would also buy a new 1-2 and 2-3 accumulator piston to install whil;e the valve body is out.with your creditials there shouldnt be a problem.one other thing,NO RED RAGS,use paper towels.i have used 20 or so of these kits and havnt run into any issues

THE ONLY THING I CAN TELL YOU IS WHEN YOU DRILL THE 2 HOLE FOR THE EPC CIRCUIT MAKE SURE YOU ID THE RIGHT AREA.

i had a shop do it for me. only cost 140 bucks to have them do it.

i have never used a shift kit before i have always just bought a different transmission. is it really worth it and how does it feel?

i noticed a difference. when u leave it in drive the car wants to jerk gears rather than go into gears smoothly. when u floor it, it chirps 1-2 for me, not shifting just in d. then i picked up 4 tenths doing nothing but changing that.
