Both.

You have an 01, so it could either be a t45 or 3650.. I'd need your VIN to tell you which one it has. When your pushin that much power you can get away with stock trans, but the stock clutch wont hold. And also, I've seen stock trannys break with 300 less horsepower than what you want to make.

Would you recommed upgrading the trans. I really dont want to spend the money but i hear its only rated at 360 torque. If i am around 600 hp isnt that pushing it. If its going to hold with an upgraded clutch i will stick with it but want to make sure i am ok.

I broke my trans with a stock motor, i had a t45, i went with the tko 500 and absolutely love it, i would recommend the tko600 for you though, if you plan on makin that much power your gonna make alot of torque too, and i would much rather have a trans that is stronger than necessary than have one thats too weak. If you talk to Tom Thompson at AMP Performance 1-800-454-8387 he can hook you up with a great package deal with a centerforce clutch, pressure plate, and the fluid you need too, great guy to deal with and great prices too.

I would look into a promotion transmission or a T-56, depending on your budget. I have heard nothing but good from both setups.
